About Our Founder, Kirk

Kirk was born in Knoxville, TN in 1970 graduating from Farragut HS and started working in the construction industry until turning his sights to serve his country with the United States Marine Corps. Kirk spent 4 years in the Marines serving at top level of Headquarters USMC in Arlington, VA.

Emery found a new passion that led him to cooking school. He attended and graduated from L’ Academie De Cuisine in Bethesda, MD.

Kirk worked in the Knoxville area and was recognized as one of Knoxville’s up and coming Chefs – nominated for best in class.

Soon after, Kirk found himself moving to Naples, FL and got married. After recognizing the hardships of the culinary lifestyle not conducive to a family, Kirk changed occupations going back to where he started, the construction industry.

Kirk landed his first superintendent role building semi-custom houses in Naples and quickly showed his prowess to accomplish builds on time and in budget that the company changed his role to fully custom builds in the City of Naples.

Since then, Kirk has been with several companies mostly in the position of Project Management, showcasing his skills of budget management, build schedule, and overseeing multiple builds at one time. For the past 8 years, Kirk has refined his skills to the kitchen and bath industry. Kirk has maintained his PM roles but has added the design elements to his experience.
